Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer II with deep expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) to join our growing infrastructure team. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with infrastructure as code, container orchestration, CI/CD pipelines, EKS and monitoring/alerting systems.
Key Responsibilities
● Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
● Build and maintain Kubernetes (EKS) clusters, including configuration, monitoring, scaling, and troubleshooting.
● Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline.
● Develop and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or similar tools.
● Automate operational processes and workflows using Python.
● Monitor infrastructure health and performance using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, and Datadog.
● Collaborate with developers to define and implement deployment strategies and best practices.
● Ensure compliance with security and governance standards by implementing IAM policies, network rules, and logging mechanisms.
● Participate in on-call rotations and troubleshoot production issues as needed.
Required Qualifications
● 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure.
● Proven expertise in AWS services, including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, CloudWatch, and Lambda.
● Strong hands-on experience managing Kubernetes clusters using EKS in production environments.
● Proficient in using Terraform (or CloudFormation) for infrastructure provisioning.
● Solid knowledge of container technologies: Docker, Helm, and Kubernetes operators.
● Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, etc.).
● Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or Datadog.
● Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar languages.
● Excellent understanding of networking concepts, DNS, firewalls, and load balancers.
